Biography

Annie has recently graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, under Gabrielle Painter and Lucy Gould. Since joining the college, she played in the Royal Welsh Symphony Orchestra, Stoutzker Orchestra, Opera Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra (Principal 2nd violin 2015).  As well as playing in large ensembles, Annie is passionate about chamber music and plays in the Acorda Piano trio (McGrenery chamber prize finalists 2016), Narmé String Quartet (Viola) and also gives regular solo recitals. 

Since graduating, Annie has taken the time to explore being a freelance musician, creating

opportunities for herself and immersing herself into projects offered to her. These

opportunities include giving chamber music recitals with her string quartet, producing

recordings for the National Dance Company of Wales, taking on orchestral opportunities and

teaching both children and adults.

Annie is available for the following:

Chamber orchestras.

String Duo/ trio/ quartet.

Weddings, funerals, events, functions, parties etc. 

Backing player.

Session recording.

Pit work.

Teaching (children and adults).
